Job Overview

People’s Bank is seeking a skilled and dynamic individual for the post of Maintenance Supervisor in the Banking Support Services Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance operations related to electrical systems, HVAC, generators, CCTV, plumbing, and other building services across the bank’s premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and inspect repairs and maintenance of:
  • Electrical systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Generators
  • CCTV systems
  • Solar PV systems
  • Gondola systems
  • Plumbing and mechanical systems
• Supervise engineering shift operations to ensure uninterrupted services
• Coordinate maintenance activities within budget and quality standards
• Ensure facilities remain safe and operational at all times
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Bank

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should:

• Be citizens of Sri Lanka
• Possess:
  • NVQ Level 5 OR
  • Diploma in Electrical or Facilities Maintenance (Electrical)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in:
  • Building maintenance
  • Facilities management
  • High-rise building MEP equipment maintenance

Required Skills

• Ability to handle minor building and MEP repairs
• Knowledge of:
  • Electrical designs
  • Project management software
  • Electrical/electronic circuit drawings
• Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • AutoCAD (added advantage)
• Report writing skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of bank rules and regulations

Age Limit

• Preferably below 45 years as at closing date of applications

Selection Method

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
• Appointment will be on contract basis
• Annual performance evaluations will be conducted
