People’s Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the post of Facility Engineer in the Banking Support Services Department. This role focuses on managing building infrastructure and MEP utility systems at People’s Tower and branch facilities while ensuring operational efficiency, maintenance, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance of People’s Tower MEP facilities
• Manage HVAC, Generator, CCTV, Access Control, MV/LV/ELV electrical systems, and plumbing
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and presentations
• Improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices
• Prepare maintenance budgets and operational reports
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers
• Ensure building safety and compliance with regulations
• Supervise facility maintenance activities and infrastructure upgrades

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Degree must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Sri Lanka

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Building services
  • High-rise building maintenance
  • MEP systems maintenance

Required Skills

• Ability to perform minor repairs on MEP equipment
• Knowledge of electrical design and project management software
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance systems

Age Limit

• Preferably below 45 years as at closing date of applications

Selection Method

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
• Appointment will be on contract basis
• Annual performance evaluations will apply
