Age Limit

Applicants should be between:

• 18 – 30 years

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have:

G.C.E. Advanced Level

• Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in one sitting with three subjects
• Two subjects should be related to:
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Technology stream

G.C.E. Ordinary Level

• Passed six subjects in one sitting with credit passes in:
  • Sinhala/Tamil/English
  • Science
  • One additional subject

Professional Qualifications

Applicants should possess at least one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma in Technology (NDT) – University of Moratuwa or Hardy Institute
• National Diploma in Engineering – NAITA
• Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE)
• Two-Year Diploma in Agriculture – TVEC
• Diploma in Technology – Open University of Sri Lanka
• Completed Part I of Engineering Examination conducted by IESL
• NVQ Level 6 relevant to the field
• Any equivalent technical qualification recognized by TVEC

Experience

• Previous experience will be considered a special qualification

Other Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be citizens of Sri Lanka
• Possess excellent moral character
• Be physically and mentally fit
• Have fulfilled all qualifications by the application closing date

Selection Method

Qualified applicants will be selected through:

1. Written Examination
2. General Interview

Written Examination Subjects

• Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
• Subject Related Technical Test
