Job Description

Sampath Securities, a leading stockbroker in Sri Lanka and a member of the Colombo Stock Exchange, is seeking qualified IT professionals to support and manage critical business systems and IT infrastructure.

The selected candidates will be responsible for system administration, IT governance, performance optimization, security compliance, and maintaining high system availability for trading and back-office operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in enterprise systems, networking, cybersecurity, and software technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee system administration functions for business applications
• Maintain Order Management Systems and Back Office Systems
• Ensure compliance with Information Security policies and Trading Participant Rules
• Optimize system performance and capacity planning activities
• Identify and resolve system-related issues promptly
• Prepare IT and management compliance reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
• Ensure effective functioning of IT-related internal controls
• Regularly review IT procedures, security, and operational controls

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration and implementation
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and software development
• Knowledge of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure management
• Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and IT trends
• Proficiency in English communication skills
