Job Description

Singer Finance is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to manage credit operations, evaluate proposals, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role involves working closely with the Credit Committee and branch teams to maintain portfolio quality and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure, and prepare credit proposals for Board approval
• Review and approve credit proposals (Corporate / SME / Retail) within delegated authority
• Support credit assessment and risk evaluation processes
• Prepare reports and presentations for Credit Committee review
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and credit policies
• Assist in developing and updating credit policies and risk tools
• Supervise and guide staff to ensure high performance
• Coordinate with branches and internal teams for credit approvals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completed GCE A/L with a strong academic record
• Degree or part qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CIM, ACA, CA, AAT, or IBSL (added advantage)
• Minimum 03 years of experience in a managerial/executive role in a bank or finance company
• Strong exposure to Credit / Credit Services
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a team
• Fluency in English and Sinhala
