Job Description

The Accounts Senior Executive will be responsible for managing all accounting-related functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting company operations with financial insights. The role involves handling tax submissions, audits, reconciliations, and working closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle monthly management reporting
• Maintain ledger entries and stock counts
• Perform bank reconciliations and material transfers
• Upload payments and manage financial transactions
• Handle VAT, SSCL, and other tax submissions
• Manage customs-related submissions
• Track receivables and ensure timely collections
• Assist with financial audits
• Travel to Dankotuwa factory (once per week – travel reimbursed)
• Support operations and quality teams with accounting queries
• Implement internal financial controls
• Monitor financial efficiency and performance
• Report directly to the Accounts Senior Manager

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Qualification or part qualification in Accounting / Finance

Experience

• Minimum 4 years total accounting experience
• At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala
• Good analytical and financial reporting skills
• Ability to work across departments
• Experience in coconut/manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Age below 30 years

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: LKR 85,000 – 105,000
• Travel reimbursement for factory visits
