Job Description

The selected candidate will support internal audit activities, conduct branch and head office audits, prepare audit reports, and ensure implementation of recommendations. This role offers strong exposure to financial, operational, and compliance audits within a reputed finance company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing audit plans and identifying risk areas
• Conduct audits in branches and head office under senior auditors
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings effectively
• Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions
• Assist in special audit projects and investigations
• Work with departments to improve internal controls and governance
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development

Qualifications & Experience

• Partly qualified or pursuing CA Sri Lanka or similar professional qualification
• OR Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an audit firm or finance company
• Strong report writing skills in English (Tamil is an added advantage)
• Knowledge in financial analysis and auditing practices
• Exposure to data analytics or AI tools will be an advantage
