Job Description

The Quality Executive will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) across production processes including Virgin Coconut Oil, Desiccated Coconut, King Coconut, and fruit-based products. The role includes inspections, audits, team coordination, and ensuring compliance with international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
• Conduct incoming, in-process, final, and product release inspections
• Verify and validate FSMS procedures and standards
• Organize quality training sessions and food safety meetings
• Evaluate hygiene standards and ensure compliance
• Oversee production quality for coconut-based products including smoothies
• Manage internal and external audits (CDA, Organic, SMETA)
• Ensure shipment quality with minimal recalls
• Supervise quality staff and factory operations
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Accounts teams
• Report directly to the Senior QA Manager

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems
• Experience with ISO 22000:2018 is required
• R&D experience is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Leadership and team supervision ability
• Good communication and coordination skills

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: LKR 65,000 – 85,000
