Job Description

KPMG Executive Search is seeking a highly qualified Electrical Engineer to join their client’s team on a contract basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing electrical maintenance operations, contractor coordination, and system upgrades across facilities.

This role requires strong expertise in preventive maintenance, project management, and resource optimization, along with leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for electrical systems
• Ensure timely repair and maintenance aligned with scheduled plans
• Oversee maintenance activities to meet quality and safety standards
• Manage contractor services and ensure continuous service availability
• Handle contractor payments and related processes efficiently
• Optimize resource utilization for cost-effective operations
• Provide expert technical advice to management for decision-making

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by UGC Sri Lanka)
• Chartered Engineer status from the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL)
• Additional qualifications in Project Management, Energy Management, or Facilities Management are advantageous
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in maintenance, upgrading, and electrical system design
• Experience in building maintenance, budgeting, and project management
• Strong knowledge of modern engineering technologies and advancements
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and project management skills
