Job Description

The Chief Operating Officer will lead and manage the operational functions of CA Sri Lanka, ensuring efficiency, performance, and service delivery across all departments. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive transformation initiatives in a dynamic professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of strategic and operational plans across departments
• Lead cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and performance
• Drive business process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with institutional goals
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with long-term vision
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships including members, students, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and MBA from a recognized university

Professional Qualifications

• Membership in CA Sri Lanka or another recognized professional body will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience
• At least 5 years in a similar leadership or operational role
• Proven experience in strategic planning and operational management
• Experience in leading high-performance teams

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
