📖 Job Description

DKS Builders is seeking a responsible Safety Officer to oversee health and safety practices across construction sites. The role involves conducting inspections, enforcing safety policies, training workers, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

🎯 Requirements

🧑‍🎓 Qualifications

• Diploma / NVQ Level 4 or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

🧑‍💼 Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Safety Officer (construction sector preferred)

🛠️ Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices
• Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks 🗣️
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to handle incidents and investigations
• Male candidates preferred
• Age below 40 years (preferred)
• Valid driving license (added advantage) 🚗

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety training sessions for workers
• Maintain and update HSE records and documentation
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents
• Promote safety awareness and best practices on-site
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
