📖 Job Description

DKS Builders is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to handle cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking of construction projects. The role involves working closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.

🎯 Requirements

🧑‍🎓 Qualifications

• Diploma / NVQ Level 5+ in Quantity Surveying or related field

🧑‍💼 Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor (construction field preferred)

🛠️ Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction costs and contracts
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 🧠
• Strong negotiation and communication skills 🤝
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Age below 35 years
• Valid driving license (added advantage) 🚗

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and take-off measurements
• Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Monitor and control project costs within budget
• Prepare cost breakdowns and progress reports
• Maintain records of site progress and variations
• Certify subcontractor, supplier, and labor payments
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers
