Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC is seeking a Senior Executive – Quality Assurance to contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement while supporting high standards of patient care and safety.

Executive-Level Experience: At least 2 years

Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC is a healthcare organization focused on quality, safety and patient care. The Senior Executive – Quality Assurance will support quality assurance, patient safety, accreditation, auditing and continuous improvement initiatives across the hospital.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Diploma in Quality Management will be an advantage.
- Training and experience in implementing quality and productivity improvement tools will be an advantage.
- Training in internal quality auditing / ISO standards / National Quality Award Criteria will be an added benefit.
- Training and experience in Healthcare Waste Management will be an added benefit.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in an Executive-level role.
- Computer literacy and ability to work as a team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and actively participate in the Quality Steering Committee, Patient Safety Committee and other quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with accreditation and certification bodies and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness and compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain and coordinate accreditation and certification documentation and ensure timely completion of required actions.
- Facilitate continual quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with clinical, medical and operational departments.
- Promote and support the institutionalization of a quality and patient safety culture, including productivity and quality improvement projects.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor internal quality audits, including follow-up of findings and corrective actions.
- Coordinate the standardization and review of hospital documents, forms, signage and related quality documents before implementation.
- Facilitate monitoring of hospital-wide quality indicators and quality improvement measures, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Support departments in identifying and monitoring KPIs and quality indicators and provide relevant performance data for staff appraisal processes.
- Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards and performance trends to relevant committees and management.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and follow-up of identified areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality improvement practices.
- Understanding of accreditation and certification requirements.
- Knowledge of internal quality auditing and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of quality and productivity improvement tools.
- Healthcare quality and patient safety awareness.
- Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, email, telephone and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training on quality and productivity for the workforce.
- Confident negotiation skills and ability to handle distraught customers tactfully.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Positive, unbiased and determined approach to managing improvement opportunities and internal customers.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
