💰 Salary Details (2026)
Salaries are paid according to Management Services Circular No. 01/2025 (dated 25.03.2025) along with Cost of Living Allowance.
- Officer in Charge – Rs. 72,650 – 120 x 1360 – 18 x 2040 – 122,970
- Attendants – Rs. 40,403 + COL
- Driver – Rs. 38,387 + COL
- Cook – Rs. 37,715 + COL
- Cook Assistant – Rs. 36,475 + COL
- Multi Duty Technical Assistant – Rs. 40,008 + COL
- Caregiver – Rs. 36,475 + COL
- Office Assistant – Rs. 36,475 + COL
- Bungalow Keeper – Rs. 36,475 + COL
🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications
1️⃣ Officer in Charge
- Degree in Social Science, Commerce, Business Management, or Arts recognized by UGC.
- Internal applicants must have served 5 years in Elders Entitlement Promotion Officer (MA 3).
- Age: 22 – 45 years.
2️⃣ Attendants
- GCE O/L with 6 subjects including Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English.
- Additional qualification in caring services or first aid (3 months course preferred).
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
3️⃣ Driver
- GCE O/L qualifications.
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license.
- Minimum 3 years driving experience.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
4️⃣ Cook
- NVQ Level 2 certificate in Cookery / Food Technology.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
5️⃣ Cook Assistant
- GCE O/L qualification.
- Minimum 3 months course in cookery.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
6️⃣ Multi Duty Technical Assistant
- NVQ Level 2 certificate in Electrical & Water Circuits.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
7️⃣ Male / Female Caregiver
- GCE O/L qualification.
- Minimum 6 months experience in caregiving or relevant training.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
8️⃣ Office Assistant
- GCE O/L qualification.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
9️⃣ Bungalow Keeper
- GCE O/L qualification.
- Minimum 6 months experience in food preparation.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
📋 General Conditions
- Officer in Charge post is permanent.
- Other posts are on 2-year contract basis, extendable based on performance.
- EPF (Employee 10% + Employer 12%) and ETF (3%) applicable.
- Recruitment through structured interview process.
- Trade test applicable for Cook, Cook Assistant, and Driver posts.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit.
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen with good character.
