Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in professional garment tailoring and construction
- Strong knowledge of stitching techniques, pattern cutting and garment assembly
- Experience in suits, dresses, party wear, shirts or blouses
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, stitch, construct and finish garments according to design specifications
- Work across men’s and women’s wear, including formal and occasion wear
- Interpret patterns, technical drawings and garment measurements
- Handle different fabrics, linings, trims and construction techniques
- Assist with fittings, alterations and garment adjustments
- Collaborate with designers to translate concepts into finished garments
Required Skills
- Ability to interpret design specifications
- Attention to detail, problem solving and commitment to quality
- Responsible, organised and able to meet production deadlines
