The Urban Development Authority (UDA) under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan professionals for the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer.

This vacancy is part of the Sethsiripaya Stage III High-Rise Office Complex Project, one of the largest government infrastructure developments in Sri Lanka.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Option 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (relevant field)
• AND
• Associate Membership or similar professional qualification from a recognized professional body

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of experience in the relevant field
• Experience must include managerial-level responsibilities

Option 2:

• Corporate Membership or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized professional institution

Experience:

• Minimum 06 years of experience in the relevant field
• Must have managerial-level experience

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical engineering aspects of large-scale construction projects
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and government regulations
• Manage project planning, execution, and maintenance systems
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project completion
• Provide technical leadership and supervision
