📍 Location: Sri Lanka

Job Summary

The selected candidate will work closely with global suppliers across China, Korea, Taiwan, Bangladesh, and India while managing woven and synthetic fabric sourcing, fabric approvals, quality evaluations, and supplier negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source woven and synthetic fabrics globally and develop new suppliers
• Manage costing, MOQs, lead times, and supplier negotiations
• Lead fabric development and approvals for new styles
• Evaluate fabric construction, performance, and quality risks
• Review bulk fabrics, test reports, and buyer compliance standards
• Handle quality issues, testing requirements, and root-cause analysis

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Degree or Diploma in Textile or Fabric Technology or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fabric technology
• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, synthetic fibers, finishing, and dyeing
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Understanding of garment washing and fabric performance is an added advantage
