Job Description

MS Way Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, a leading logistics company specializing in import operations, transportation, and distribution, is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual for the position of Senior Executive – Freight Imports. The role involves handling import shipments, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with customs and logistics regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle import operations and freight forwarding processes
• Coordinate purchasing, packaging shipments, and transportation activities
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements
• Manage accounts payable related to import operations
• Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams
• Monitor shipment timelines and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support overall logistics and supply chain operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations and Accounts Payable
• Minimum 6-month certificate course in Freight Forwarding or Shipping
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and systems such as ASYCUDA and SLPA
• Good knowledge of Sri Lanka customs regulations
• Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English
• Good IT skills and proficiency in relevant software
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure
