Job Overview

The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development is calling applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Resettlement Assistant under the Inclusive Connectivity & Development Project (ICDP). The project focuses on infrastructure development and connectivity enhancement across Sri Lanka.

Project Overview

The Inclusive Connectivity & Development Project (ICDP) is implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development to support national infrastructure development while ensuring proper social safeguard and resettlement processes during project implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Passed G.C.E. (A/L) Examination in at least three subjects in one sitting
• Minimum 05 years of experience in the relevant field
• Good knowledge of computer applications
• Ability to work independently and maintain proper documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in:

• Resettlement activities
• Social safeguard projects
• Community coordination and field-level project implementation

Age Limit

• Below 60 years for Government and Semi-Government officers
• Below 64 years for external applicants

Salary & Benefits

• Salary and allowances will be paid according to Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 issued by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

Terms of Employment

• Contract basis appointment
• Initial appointment for one year
• Extensions based on project requirement and performance evaluation
