This role involves overseeing regional office operations, coordinating with the Head Office and sub-offices, and ensuring the effective delivery of services across the region.

Organization Overview

The Office on Missing Persons (OMP) was established under the Office on Missing Persons (Establishment, Administration and Discharge of Functions) Act No. 14 of 2016. The institution is responsible for addressing matters relating to missing persons and supporting affected families through its regional and national operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Degree in Law, Human Rights, Management, Administration, Human Resource Management, or Public Management recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Minimum one (1) year of post-qualifying experience in a field relevant to the position after obtaining the first degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Office.
• Supervise and monitor the smooth and effective functioning of the Regional Office.
• Coordinate activities between the Head Office and sub-offices of the Office on Missing Persons.
• Ensure efficient implementation of regional office functions and operational activities.

Required Skills

• Strong administrative and management capabilities.
• Leadership and coordination skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of transitional justice will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and government institutions.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale:
Rs. 91,690 – 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,450 – Rs. 168,240

(As per Management Services Circular 01/2025)
