Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (professional qualification)
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a managerial role
- Experience in plastic packaging, flexible packaging, extrusion, printing or conversion processes
- Experience in new product development and commercialisation within a packaging or manufacturing environment
- Experience managing or mentoring a QA/QC team
- Experience working with international customers and multinational manufacturing organisations
- Experience working with external laboratories for product testing and certification
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of the Quality Management System
- Audit and compliance management, including managing audit findings, developing corrective action plans and ensuring timely closure of non-conformities
- Product development and management of customer requirements
- Handling customer complaints, root-cause analysis, CAPA and non-conformance management
- Driving continuous improvement across quality processes
Required Skills
- Knowledge of overall quality management compliance, including Food Safety Management Systems, ethical compliance and standards such as SMETA, ICS and customer-specific standards
- Strong working knowledge of QMS, product specifications, inspection standards, sampling, testing, SPC, process control and quality data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong presentation and training facilitation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with Production, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and senior management
