⚙️ Job Description

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the Surgical Department
• Supervise Medical Officers, House Officers, and nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control, and hospital policies
• Coordinate with Consultant Surgeons, Anesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor clinical quality indicators, audits, and patient safety initiatives
• Manage duty rosters and optimize staff allocation
• Participate in continuous medical education and departmental development

🎯 Requirements

🎓 Qualifications

• MBBS degree recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
• Full registration with SLMC

💼 Experience

• Minimum 5 years post-internship clinical experience
• Exposure to surgical settings is required
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience is an added advantage
