⚙️ Job Description

• Assist in maintaining fire prevention and firefighting systems within factory premises
• Conduct routine inspections of fire hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency exits
• Support Fire Officers in emergency response operations and evacuation procedures
• Participate in fire drills and employee emergency preparedness programs
• Monitor factory operations to identify fire hazards and unsafe practices
• Report safety issues immediately and assist in corrective actions
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Section Head

🎯 Requirements

🎓 Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E O/L (Sinhala & Mathematics required; English is an advantage)
• NVQ Level 03 Certificate in Fire & Rescue

🛠 Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in firefighting or safety-related role
• Passing the Preliminary Firefighting Examination is an added advantage

💡 Skills & Attributes

• Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations
• Ability to work on a shift basis
• Team player with discipline and responsibility
• Involvement in cadetship/scouting/sports is an advantage
