Sri Lanka Ports Authority is inviting applications from qualified individuals for several managerial vacancies in the maritime, engineering, and technical sectors.

Available Vacancies

1. Senior Training Manager (Maritime & Seamanship)

• Grade: Senior Level Management 3 (SLM 3)

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Postgraduate Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in:
  • Marine Engineering
  • Nautical Science
  • Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university

Experience

• Minimum five (05) years experience in a similar capacity in the relevant field

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: Rs. 109,215/-
• Approximate Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 204,500/- inclusive of allowances

2. Training Manager (Maritime & Seamanship)

• Grade: Middle Level Management 1 (MLM 1)

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Degree in:
  • Marine Engineering
  • Nautical Science
  • Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university

Experience

• Minimum five (05) years experience in a similar capacity in the relevant field

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: Rs. 92,650/-
• Approximate Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 185,000/- inclusive of allowances

3. Assistant Works Manager (Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics)

• Grade: Middle Level Management 2 (MLM 2)

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• NDT / HNDT / HNDE / NDES / NDET / ED-OUSL
  OR
• City & Guilds Final Certificate
  OR
• Successful completion of Special Apprentices (minimum four years) in the relevant field

Experience

• Minimum five (05) years experience in a similar capacity in the relevant field

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: Rs. 82,505/-
• Approximate Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 175,000/- inclusive of allowances

General Requirements

• Applicants should be below 45 years of age
• Age limit will not apply to Government Department or State Corporation employees
• Selected candidates may be required to serve in any division or section of the Authority
