Qualifications & Experience
- A degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Management, Engineering or a related field
- Significant experience in supply chain, procurement and commercial management, preferably within the electrical engineering or construction industry
- Experience in CIDA-related projects and international procurement will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective supply chain and commercial management strategies
- Oversee procurement, sourcing, supplier selection and vendor relationship management
- Manage purchasing activities, inventory control, logistics and material planning
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms
- Monitor project costs, budgets and procurement schedules to ensure timely project execution
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and applicable procurement procedures
- Coordinate with project teams, finance, stores and other departments to ensure operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement and supply chain risk management
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation, analytical, leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in procurement processes, supplier management and cost-control practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
