Organization Overview
chargeNET designs and builds its own AC and DC EV chargers locally for the Sri Lankan and export markets, and operates the country’s leading EV charging network.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronics, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years in electrical or electronics manufacturing, including 2+ years managing production teams
- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly and electrical testing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, lean methods and ERP systems (Odoo)
Preferred:
- Experience manufacturing EV chargers, power electronics, inverters, UPS or switchgear
- Familiarity with EV charging standards (IEC 61851, CCS, CHAdeMO) and OCPP
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA in operations or engineering management
- Associate or Chartered membership of IESL or an equivalent professional body
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production of home, commercial and DC fast chargers to meet deployment and export dates
- Ensure every unit passes end-of-line electrical safety and functional testing, with full serial-number traceability
- Keep production compliant with ISO 9001 and EV charging standards (e.g. IEC 61851, CCS, CHAdeMO)
- Work with R&D to bring new charger models into production and communicate design improvements from the production floor
- Coordinate with procurement to secure components for continuous production and control production costs
