Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and sustainability practices, particularly within manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Experience in risk assessment, emergency response planning, and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to occupational health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018) across operations.
• Lead workplace risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate hazards.
• Promote proactive safety initiatives, including near-miss reporting and hazard observation programs.
• Foster a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Support the development, review, and implementation of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills, training, and readiness evaluations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and training programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Analyze safety performance data and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• Expertise in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Knowledge of incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies.
