Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Full professional qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent recognized professional body is mandatory.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Management will be an added advantage.
• More than 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position as a Finance Manager.
• Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution sector is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, cost control, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization’s finance and accounting functions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Manage working capital and optimize cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan taxation and financial regulations.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to senior management.
• Utilize ERP systems and financial software to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Excellent understanding of working capital management and cash flow optimization.
• Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial analysis expertise.
• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
