Qualifications & Experience
- Certification or technical training in a maintenance related field
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, machinery and equipment
- Carry out inspections of premises to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs
- Ensure the functionality of heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems and other key systems
- Conduct minor repairs, renovations and modifications as required
- Oversee contractors and ensure outsourced work is carried out to high standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections and repairs
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
Required Skills
- Ability to handle electrical, mechanical and plumbing activities
- Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
