Job Description

The Commercial Bank Internship Programme 2026 is designed for young individuals who have completed their G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) and are awaiting or pursuing Advanced Level (A/L) results.

Interns will gain practical exposure to multiple areas of modern banking, customer service, and financial operations while developing professional skills in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day banking and administrative activities
• Support branch and departmental staff in customer service operations
• Learn basic banking procedures, systems, and compliance standards
• Participate in assigned training and development programmes
• Maintain professionalism and follow bank policies at all times
• Gain exposure to different areas of retail and operational banking

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet one of the following requirements:

• Below 21 years of age, and
  • Passed six (06) subjects with four (04) ‘C’ passes, including Mathematics, and
  • Obtained an ‘A’ or ‘B’ pass for English
  • In a single sitting at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination

OR

• Passed six (06) subjects with three (03) ‘B’ passes, including English and Mathematics, and three (03) ‘C’ passes
  • In a single sitting at Edexcel or Cambridge (O/L) Examination

AND

• Sat for G.C.E. (A/L) or Edexcel/Cambridge (A/L) Examination and/or awaiting results

Remuneration

Interns will receive a training allowance in line with the Bank’s internship policy.
