Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-disbursement facility reviews in accordance with Board-approved policies.
• Review credit-related policies to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor casual excesses and review credit facilities.
• Prepare segment, client, and product portfolio analyses.
• Implement and monitor the Social and Environmental Management System (SEMS).
• Monitor credit risk goals and prepare risk dashboards.
• Review borrower risk rating models.
• Submit CRIB data to the Credit Information Bureau promptly.
• Prepare management reports related to credit risk.
• Conduct stress testing and sample checks on SICR (Significant Increase in Credit Risk) customer accounts.
• Assist the Head of Credit Risk in Board Committee meetings and other management meetings.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Full or part qualification in Banking or a relevant professional qualification in Credit.
• Qualifications related to Risk Management will be an added advantage.
• 4–5 years of experience in the commercial banking industry, including 2–3 years in a similar role or credit management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to think innovatively with strong planning and execution skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
