Position Details

Position: Executive – Corporate Banking

The Executive – Corporate Banking will be responsible for evaluating credit proposals, assessing client financial information, monitoring credit facilities and providing appropriate credit solutions to corporate clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Part qualification in Banking from IBSL or a Diploma in Credit Management from IBSL / SLICM, or an equivalent recognized credit-related qualification.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a commercial bank.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Credit Officer, Credit Analyst or similar role.
• Previous experience in credit operations or specialization in corporate banking will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, credit evaluation and risk management processes.
• High competency in financial analysis and credit risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate and review comprehensive credit proposals.
• Conduct pre-credit evaluations and implement post-credit monitoring for facilities.
• Analyze weekly reports to identify and address overdue debtors promptly.
• Scrutinize loan requests and assess clients’ financial data to determine creditworthiness.
• Perform in-depth credit analysis and calculate risk ratios to support sound lending decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their financial needs.
• Deliver tailored credit solutions based on client requirements.
• Monitor credit facilities and identify potential credit risks.
• Support effective corporate banking and credit management activities.
