Position Details

The Maintenance Executive – Electronics will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and technical operations related to electronic, control and electrical systems at Lake House.

The position is suitable for candidates with qualifications in Electronic Engineering, Electronics and/or Telecommunication Engineering and relevant practical experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• National Diploma in Technology (NDT), Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE), National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES), or equivalent Diploma qualification in Electronic Engineering, together with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Engineering from the Open University of Sri Lanka or an equivalent or higher qualification in Electronics and/or Telecommunication Engineering, together with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Candidates who have sat for the final examination of any of the above Higher Diploma programmes and are currently awaiting results are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Executive – Electronics will be expected to support maintenance and technical activities involving:

• Electronic systems and equipment.
• Control systems.
• PLC-related applications.
• Communication systems.
• Electrical engineering systems.
• Digital and analog control electronics.
• Microprocessor-controlled systems.
• PC hardware.
• IoT-related projects.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of relevant electronic and control equipment.
• Other technical and maintenance duties assigned by the organization.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess:

• Thorough knowledge of Electronics.
• Knowledge of Control Systems.
• Knowledge of PLC-related applications.
• Understanding of Communication Engineering concepts.
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of digital and analog control electronics.
• Knowledge of microprocessor-controlled systems.
• Knowledge of PC hardware.
• Knowledge of IoT-related projects.
• Practical hands-on technical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic and control systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a technical maintenance environment.

Hands-on experience in the above areas will be an added advantage.
