Data Scientist – Dialog Axiata PLC

The successful candidate will develop data-driven use cases and provide actionable intelligence using advanced data analytics tools and methodologies. This role supports the organization in achieving its digitization goals and strategic and tactical decision-making by acquiring, transforming, and modeling data.

The Job:

• Develop analytics solutions that contribute to revenue growth, cost reduction, and EBITDA targets.
• Develop Statistical/AI/ML models that are scalable, robust, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and version control.
• Present analytical insights and actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with AI application development teams to ensure efficient solution delivery.
• Integrate AI/ML models with downstream systems and ensure scalability.
• Continuously monitor, refine, and optimize model performance using feedback loops.
• Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to support innovation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new tools, technologies, and methodologies in AI/ML.
• Embed ethical Al principles, transparency, and explainability in all AI Solution development and deployment practices.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree in AI/Data Science/ Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Technology/ Statistics or a related field
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Good understanding of Gen AI/ Agentic AI technology stack
• Hands-on-experience in R/Python or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on-experience in working with any major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Data visualization and communication expertise.
