Payable is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to develop scalable data pipelines and ensure high-quality, timely data flow across systems such as mPOS, WPOS, SoftPOS, IPG, and Instant Settlement. The role includes extracting data from multiple sources, managing structured datasets, and building dashboards using Power BI to support business decisions.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for Payable systems
• Extract data from SQL databases, APIs, and files (CSV/Excel)
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates
• Automate data processing using Python, SQL, PySpark or similar tools
• Manage internal data warehouse tables, schemas, and views
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and operations
• Maintain documentation of data sources and transformations
• Build and update Power BI dashboards 📊
• Create DAX measures and optimized data models
• Monitor pipeline performance and data refresh cycles
• Ensure quality of merchant, transaction, and settlement data

🎓 Candidate Profile

✔️ Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field

✔️ Skills & Requirements

• Strong SQL knowledge (queries, joins, indexing, optimization)
• Experience with Python (data processing & automation)
• Knowledge of PySpark / Spark
• Experience in ETL / ELT pipeline development
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schemas)
• Experience with Power BI (DAX & data modeling)
• Integration experience with APIs, databases, CSV/Excel
• Strong data validation and data quality skills
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
