Supun Group is seeking a proactive Assistant Accountant to manage accounting records, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements. The role involves working closely with finance teams to maintain accurate financial data and support business decisions.

🎓 Candidate Profile

✔️ Educational Qualifications

• Part qualification in CA / ACCA / CMA OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance

✔️ Experience

• Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in a similar accounting role

✔️ Skills & Requirements

• Experience with ERP or computerized accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word 💻
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle financial records accurately
• Female candidates are preferred

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable/payable and related reconciliations
• Maintain accurate ledger postings and financial records
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, budgets & reports
• Support cash flow monitoring and financial analysis
• Assist with tax filings, audits, and statutory submissions
• Perform bank reconciliations and period-end processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Support improvements to accounting processes and systems
