Job Description

LB Finance PLC is looking for an exceptional Chief Information Officer (CIO) to drive the organization’s technology vision, strategy, and execution across a nationwide network of over 220 branches.

This role is a high-impact leadership opportunity focused on delivering digital transformation, operational excellence, and cybersecurity resilience at scale. The CIO will oversee enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure, data centers, and software development capabilities, ensuring seamless service delivery across all business operations.

The successful candidate will lead a centralized technology organization of over 250 professionals and will be responsible for ensuring system stability, scalability, and security while driving modernization and innovation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives
• Lead IT operations including digital platforms, enterprise architecture, and data center management
• Oversee cybersecurity strategy and ensure resilience across all systems
• Drive development of in-house software capabilities and digital innovation
• Ensure delivery of projects aligned with KPIs, timelines, and quality standards
• Lead large-scale IT teams and ensure high-performance operations
• Collaborate with executive leadership and operate at Board level
• Ensure regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management within IT operations
• Drive modernization, scalability, and security of enterprise systems

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT environments
• Strong expertise in software engineering or IT infrastructure
• Proven experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and cybersecurity frameworks
• Experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance (financial services preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership at executive or board level
• Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
• Ability to lead large teams and manage complex technology ecosystems
• Exposure to AI, digital ecosystems, and emerging technologies is an advantage
