Epic Lanka is looking for enthusiastic interns to join their backend development team.

As a Backend Intern, you will work on real-world fintech systems, supporting the development of APIs, database management, and backend performance optimization.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services & middleware ⚙️
• Support design and implementation of RESTful APIs
• Work with databases (RDBMS) to manage application data
• Participate in system integrations (internal & external services)
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and teams
• Assist in debugging and optimizing backend performance
• Follow secure coding practices 🔐
• Gain exposure to scalability, monitoring, and logging systems

🎯 Candidate Profile

✔️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • IT or related field
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Java and/or Kotlin
  • REST APIs & JSON
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with Android Studio & Android SDK
• Good problem-solving and communication skills 🧠
