Job Description

MAS Legato is looking for finance professionals to handle accounting, payroll, and financial reporting tasks for international clients, mainly focused on Australian operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, and Payroll processing
• Reconcile business bank accounts
• Process daily payment receipts
• Manage client mailboxes and communications
• Handle fortnightly payroll processing
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Ensure compliance (PAYG/STP lodgements & Super)
• Calculate tax liabilities such as GST and Payroll Tax
• Prepare BAS and IAS reports
• Generate financial reports and perform data analysis
• Support client onboarding and training processes

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Finance / Financial Accounting
• Professional qualification in CIMA / ACCA / ICASL (or studying)
• 1–3 years experience in Australian accounting
• Hands-on experience in XERO, MYOB or similar software
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work in Australian time zone
