Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the University Grants Commission
OR - NVQ Level 07 or above in a relevant technical field
OR - NVQ Level 06 or above from a recognized Technical/Vocational Training Institute
Experience Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant position in a government department, public corporation, board, or statutory body
OR
- NVQ Level 05 with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a government or public sector organization.
Salary Scale
JM 1-1 – Rs. 72,650 – 122,970
(This salary scale will be effective from 01 January 2027.)
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 45 years
(The age limit does not apply to candidates already employed in government departments or corporations.)
2. Technical Assistant (Mechanical / Civil)
