Job Overview

Nawaloka Hospitals PLC is seeking a motivated and responsible School Leaver to join its IT Support Desk team. The selected candidate will assist hospital staff with basic technical issues and support the smooth operation of hospital IT systems.

Required Qualifications

• G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification, preferably with ICT as a subject.
• Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, and software applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, printers, and networking.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic IT-related issues.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Fresh school leavers are encouraged to apply.
• Previous IT-related training or certification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and record IT support requests from hospital staff.
• Provide first-level assistance for basic hardware and software issues.
• Assist users with login, password, printer, email, and system-access problems.
• Install and configure computers, printers, and other IT equipment under supervision.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant IT team members.
• Update the IT helpdesk system with issue details and resolution status.
• Support the maintenance of IT equipment and asset records.
• Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Follow IT security, confidentiality, and hospital data-protection procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional support to all users.
