Qualifications & Experience

• G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification in any stream.
• Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Secretarial Practice or Healthcare Administration will be an added advantage.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar clerical role.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferable.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration and appointment coordination for the Heart Center.
• Perform clerical and administrative work related to Heart Center patients.
• Maintain and update patient records, reports and relevant documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other departments regarding patient information and scheduling.
• Assist in preparing reports, data entry and record-keeping activities.
• Respond to telephone inquiries and direct patients or visitors appropriately.
• Provide accurate information to patients and relevant hospital staff when required.
• Ensure proper handling and filing of bills, receipts and related documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
