Job Description

MAS Vaanavil, Kilinochchi is looking for a dedicated individual to join its team as Assistant – Employee Relations – Operations.

The role supports Human Resources and Employee Relations activities, helping maintain a stable, safe and productive workforce while contributing to employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support employee relations and HR operations activities.
• Assist with employee attendance and retention-related activities.
• Support compliance and employee-related documentation.
• Assist with employee welfare and engagement initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and support effective resolution of workplace issues.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Support HR reporting, documentation and administrative activities.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to improve employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Employee Relations at MAS includes areas such as employee concerns, grievance management, employee engagement and maintaining communication with the workforce. (MAS Holdings)

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
• 2–3 years of work experience in a similar capacity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with employees and different stakeholders
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Ability to handle employee-related matters professionally
• Good understanding of HR and employee relations practices
