CIC Livestock Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its technical team and oversee the maintenance and performance of machinery at its poultry feed manufacturing plant in Ja-Ela.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the performance of machinery at the poultry feed manufacturing plant.
• Maintain and improve the performance of general equipment.
• Support efficient and cost-effective plant operations.
• Train the technical team to improve machinery performance.
• Identify machinery and equipment issues and support timely corrective action.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous improvements in plant performance.
• Support the effective operation of utility services and manufacturing equipment.
• Contribute to maintenance planning and operational efficiency.

Educational Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or an equivalent qualification specialising in the Electrical or Mechatronics field.
• Qualification should be from a recognised technical institute.
• At least 4 years of relevant technical education/training as specified in the advertisement.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing organisation.
• Experience in machinery maintenance and manufacturing environments will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of fabrication and civil construction is essential.
• Knowledge of utility services is required.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to work with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages.
• Ability to use AI tools.
• Familiarity with SAP Maintenance Module.
• Knowledge of utility services and machinery maintenance, including:
  • Power generators
  • Air compressors
  • Steam boilers
• Knowledge of ISO 22000 / HACCP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of TPM-based maintenance programmes.
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
