Position Details

The Planning Assistant will support planning, coordination and administrative activities of the National Child Protection Authority.

The position is classified under the MA 3 salary grade and carries 01 vacancy.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Social Sciences or any other relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Key Responsibilities

The Planning Assistant will support the Authority’s planning and administrative activities, including:

• Assisting with planning-related activities of the National Child Protection Authority.
• Supporting the preparation and coordination of programmes and plans.
• Assisting with the collection and organization of information required for planning activities.
• Supporting the preparation of reports and planning-related documents.
• Coordinating with relevant officers and divisions regarding assigned activities.
• Maintaining relevant records and documentation.
• Assisting with monitoring and follow-up activities.
• Performing other duties assigned by the Authority.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale: MA 3 – 01/2025

Salary: Rs. 53,940 – 10 × Rs. 800 – 11 × Rs. 1,190 – 10 × Rs. 1,320 – 5 × Rs. 1,350 – Rs. 94,980 per month.

Basic Salary as at 01 January 2027: Rs. 53,940.

• 3% contribution to ETF by the Authority.
