Position Details
The Planning Assistant will support planning, coordination and administrative activities of the National Child Protection Authority.
The position is classified under the MA 3 salary grade and carries 01 vacancy.

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Social Sciences or any other relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Key Responsibilities
The Planning Assistant will support the Authority’s planning and administrative activities, including:
- Assisting with planning-related activities of the National Child Protection Authority.
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of programmes and plans.
- Assisting with the collection and organization of information required for planning activities.
- Supporting the preparation of reports and planning-related documents.
- Coordinating with relevant officers and divisions regarding assigned activities.
- Maintaining relevant records and documentation.
- Assisting with monitoring and follow-up activities.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Authority.
Required Skills
Candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of management, social sciences or a relevant field.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and official documents.
- Good coordination and teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work responsibly with confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively with government officials and other stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Scale: MA 3 – 01/2025
Salary: Rs. 53,940 – 10 × Rs. 800 – 11 × Rs. 1,190 – 10 × Rs. 1,320 – 5 × Rs. 1,350 – Rs. 94,980 per month.
Basic Salary as at 01 January 2027: Rs. 53,940.
Other Benefits
- Cost of Living Allowance.
- 12% contribution to EPF by the Authority.
- 3% contribution to ETF by the Authority.
- Other applicable benefits according to the relevant conditions of service.
