DFCC Bank PLC is seeking an experienced CCMU Officer to join its Operations – Central CCTV Monitoring Unit (CCMU). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV operations across the bank’s branch network, identifying security threats, ensuring surveillance system efficiency, and supporting the bank’s overall security and operational integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Professional qualification in Banking or a related field.
• Certification in Security Surveillance Operations or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in CCTV monitoring or a similar surveillance function.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify security threats, unethical behaviour, and system irregularities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to make quick, effective, and informed decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV footage across branches and designated locations to identify threats to people, property, and bank assets.
• Detect and escalate unethical behaviour, policy violations, and suspicious activities that may impact customer experience or the bank’s reputation.
• Identify, monitor, and report CCTV system issues, including hardware failures, software malfunctions, and unusual system activity.
• Prepare accurate management reports, presentations, and CCTV-related documentation within agreed service levels.
• Liaise with internal departments and branch teams to recommend CCTV and security system improvements.
• Conduct awareness and training sessions to improve staff knowledge and effectiveness in CCTV operations.
• Support the continuous improvement of surveillance processes and operational security.
