Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• NVQ Level 4 or NVQ Level 5 qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine repairs, suspension, transmission, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in servicing petrol, diesel, hybrid vehicles, and air conditioning (A/C) systems.
• Knowledge of Advanced Diagnostics will be a distinct advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles.
• Carrying out routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Performing engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and steering system repairs.
• Servicing hybrid vehicles and automotive air conditioning systems.
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Inspecting vehicles and recommending necessary repairs.
• Ensuring workshop safety procedures and company standards are followed.
