Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Honours/Special Degree with specialization in Computer Science or Statistics with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division).
• OR Bachelor’s Honours/Special Degree with Second Class (Lower Division).
• OR Bachelor’s Honours/Special Degree without a class (or another degree with at least Second Class) together with:
  • A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field.
  • OR A Master’s Degree with a research component completed after a full-time course of at least 24 months (or equivalent part-time study).
  • OR A full-time Master’s Degree of at least 18 months with a minimum of 60 credits, including at least 15 research credits through a thesis or dissertation.
• Previous experience in Data Science, Machine Learning projects, completion of relevant professional courses, and strong programming skills will be considered added qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with research activities at the Centre for Strategic Planning & University Statistics.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret research and statistical data.
• Support institutional planning and strategic research projects.
• Prepare research reports and technical documentation.
• Assist in data processing and statistical analysis.
• Contribute to Data Science and Machine Learning-related research initiatives where applicable.
• Maintain accurate research records and documentation.
• Perform other research-related duties assigned by the Centre.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Rs. 85,305 per month (Paid Amount: Rs. 76,399, Unpaid Amount: Rs. 8,906).

• University contribution of 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
