Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Should have sat for the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Maximum age limit will not apply to internal applicants.

General Requirements

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge assigned duties.
• Must possess good character.
• Previous experience in stores, inventory, warehouse, or material handling operations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining stores and inventory records.
• Receive, store, and issue materials according to organizational procedures.
• Support stock verification and inventory control activities.
• Maintain proper documentation related to stores operations.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
• Assist in organizing warehouse and storage areas.
• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding material requirements.
• Support efficient inventory management and stock monitoring.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory and stores operations.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Physical fitness for handling materials and stock items.
• Teamwork and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale

PL-1 Salary Code: PL-1 Rs. 40,500/- – 450 x 10,490 x 10,540 x 7,590 x 15 = Rs. 62,530/-

• Initial monthly salary of Rs. 38,488/- will be paid from the date of recruitment according to Schedule II.

• Cost of Living Allowance – Rs. 17,800/-
• Monthly Food Allowance based on attendance.
• Monthly Attendance Incentive.
• Monthly Transport Allowance – Rs. 1,800/-.
