Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Should have sat for the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

General Requirements

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Should be physically and mentally fit to perform assigned duties.
• Must possess good character.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment and serve in any part of the island if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labour duties assigned within the Pulmoddai Plant.
• Assist operational and maintenance teams as required.
• Support plant activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
• Handle manual tasks and operational support functions efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in designated work areas.
• Assist supervisors in completing assigned tasks on schedule.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale

PL-1 Salary Code: PL-1 Rs. 40,500/- – 450 x 10,490 x 10,540 x 7,590 x 15 = Rs. 62,530/-

• Initial monthly salary of Rs. 38,488/- will be paid from the date of recruitment according to Schedule II.

Allowances

• Cost of Living Allowance – Rs. 17,800/-
• Monthly Food Allowance (based on attendance)
• Monthly Attendance Incentive
• Monthly Transport Allowance – Rs. 1,800/-
